My review/ impressions whatever for the 11/18 show.
Set List: I didn't write this down at the time but I think this is correct.
Busy Doing Nothing
Rule Your World/Dark Horse smash-up
New Song
Human Nature
No Scrubs
Hard to Say
Superman
Another new song
Koi ni Ochitara
I really enjoyed the show. Crystal sounded amazing and of course she looked fabulous. She was hitting all the notes, hi, low and everything in-between. Her voice was clear and strong. I like acoustic shows because you really get to hear the singer and listening to Crystal was awesome. To me she sounded better live than on her recordings. Her interactions with the audience were fun and she seemed relaxed and I felt she enjoyed herself also. I think she was a little awed by fact that we were so familiar with her JP catalog and the length of ppls fandom.
Hearing BDN and RYW live made me like those songs even more and the smash-up with Dark Horse was great. The highlight of the set was when she sang two new songs both of which I liked a lot so I hope she will release them. The guitarist, whose name is Jameson I believe was great also.
As for the venue, I would definitely go back. The acoustics were very good and the setting was very intimate, a good choice her part. She commented that it was like performing in a living room and that's what it felt like. The set was about an hour which I expected.
The best moment for me post show was when ppl lined up for pictures and to speak with her. I brought her best of cd just in case I had a chance to get an autograph. When I got up to her I said I was smart phone challenged so I couldn’t take a picture but would she sign the cd? She signed it but then she asked me to take out my phone and let’s see what we can do. I took out my phone and she pressed whatever and her friend took the picture. She was so nice; she treated you like you were her boo.
